When a Commando is on a mission, he does not stay in a hotel or campsite. Commandos spend the night in the open air without facilities. In doing so, it is obviously important not to leave traces and not to disturb the natural environment. Therefore, Commandos are trained to bivouac in all conditions without being seen by the enemy.
This bivouac site is named after Arakan. This is an area where the KCT was deployed against the Japanese in 1944. The name Arakan appears on the KCT's banner.
More information about the mission is on the information board.
