From the De Mok birdwatching hut you have a beautiful view of the De Mokkebank nature reserve (the area is not freely accessible). You may encounter swans, spoonbills and cormorants. Between August and October, the area is the stopping place for thousands of grebes. In autumn and winter you can admire different kinds of ducks. In spring the bearded reedling sings in the reed and above it the marsh harrier floats. Note: in wet weather and high water, this hut is hardly accessible. You can park in the shoulder near the bird-watching hut.
