The Brabants Landschap, together with ARK Natuurontwikkeling, reintroduced the red deer to Het Groene Woud in 2017. They are especially common in the Scheeken and Mortelen nature reserves, on both sides of the A2 motorway. Ecoducts over the motorway allow the animals to move further.

Red deer are regularly spotted near this wildlife barrier. But other wild animals living in these forests also show themselves here. Enjoy nature while being well hidden yourself.
