Berghoeve Brewery - Den Ham

The two owners Geralda and Jurgen of the Berghoeve Brewery met during their food technology studies. During this course, you are taught about beverage technology, including brewing. That sounded like music to the couple's ears. Soon they were brewing their own beer in the student room and their passion for beer was aroused.

For fifteen years, they practised brewing together. On 1 January 2010, they started Berghoeve Brewery in Den Ham and in the summer of that year, the first craft beers were launched on the market. The very first beer was appropriately named 'Vuurdoop'. In the meantime, the range has expanded further with beers matured in various barrels, Dubbels, Tripels, Blondes, IPAs, Stouts, fruit beers and seasonal beers, which are finding their way to the growing group of special beer lovers in (almost) the whole of the Netherlands.

You are very welcome in their beer shop and tasting room that can be visited from Monday to Saturday by appointment. Or contact them for a real 'Berghoeve Exbieriance', an arrangement with beer tasting and an extensive tour.
