In the flower garden of De Nieuwe Beukenhof, the apartment building that stands on the site of the villa where Audrey lived during the war, stands a bronze statue in memory of Arnhem's most famous film star Audrey Hepburn.

Audrey dreamed of becoming a dancer. The statue was created by Velp artist Yvon van Wordragen (Velp 1960) and unveiled by Audrey's son Luca Dotti and Robert Matzen (author of The Dutch Girl, Audrey Hepburn) in 2019.
