An extraordinary building, designed by René van Zuuk, overlooking the Oosterdok, houses the Architecture Centre Amsterdam. In the shoebox, as the building is also called, you will find information on architecture, urban planning and landscape design. There are changing exhibitions with current themes and a permanent exhibition: "Timeline Amsterdam 2000-2030".
The centre also organises city tours where you can discover architecture in the city with a guide. For more information about the tours, visit Arcam's website.
