Alkenhaer Campsite - Appelscha

After lovely cycling and/or walking tours through the Drents-Friese Wold National Park and Fochtelooërveen, it's a great homecoming at our cosy campsite with excellent facilities. Your pitch will give you all the quiet and privacy you wish for. Whether you feel like a social chat or a game of cards, or want to try your luck at the billiard table or dartboard, then you are most welcome to our Boshuis catering facility. Alkenhaer Campsite is quite suited for families with young kids, nature lovers, hikers and cyclists alike, and its located between 2 unique protected natural areas, at walking distance from the village of Appelscha, in Friesland, with the two other northern provinces of Groningen and Drenthe around the door.

When at the campsite, grasp the opportunity to walk into the Boshuisloop for a drink, to order something from the menu, play a game of cards, try your hand at the billiard table, have a chat at the bar, watch football matches and other events on the big screen, or play a game of darts. There is also WIFI available on this campsite.
