Museum Lemmer - Lemmer
In Museum Lemmer, you can admire all kinds of local attributes from days gone by. You will find six showcases with a special collection of Lemster kerf-cut pottery. Fishing is highlighted with various models of Lemsteraken, botters and scowls.
Peat extraction has also had a great influence on Lemmer and its surroundings. In the museum you can see a large number of tools that were used by the Gieterse peat diggers. The period room has a living room with a bedstead and furniture entirely in the style of the 1920s.
